The big reveal is finally here and I couldn’t be more obsessed with this beautiful bathroom makeover. If you missed it, you can see the progress and detailed before images here in phase I.
Taylor put together an easy-to-follow shopping list which allowed us to select everything right down to the exact wall paint. She also shared that although she arms her clients with this list, they’re free to tweak and tailor based on their preference.
For the first part of the room, my husband and I followed Taylor’s outline but mixed in a few pieces of our own – we found two chic (and cheap!) mirrors at ROSS that set the stage for the rest of the vanity.
There was something organic about tieing in the natural marble stone and coupling it with geo-shaped lights from Lowe’s. I was also thrilled how well the mixed metals paired together when placing the lights above the rose gold frames.
We also tapped into Taylor’s shelving suggestion, combining the wooden ladder and shelves into one presentation. I loved the calming concept she shared of adding a soothing image to gaze at while soaking in the tub, and was able to include two tranquil pieces from designer Kyra Hinton!
Although I was ready for a bathroom reno, there’s one part of the space that I’ve always loved- our clawfoot tub! We followed her instructions to T including the ladder, sconces and basket – all pleasantly framing the tub as the focal point of the room.
To fully appreciate the transformation, I’ve included a slideshow of the before and after images below! No matter if you want a full-reno or just to spruce up a small rental space, Taylor Schaap’s virtual and budget-friendly services can help you create the area of your “Pinterest” dreams.
